Bruce Grimley B.Sc(hons) M.Sc C.Psychol. AFBsS.Bruce Grimley will attend the course to provide a unique insight into how a Psychologist uses Hypnosis and NLP in his client work.
Bruce Grimley is a successful Chartered Psychologist and Accredited Coach and registered Trainer of NLP. He ceased working as a Divisional Training and Development Manager for Royal Mail in 1998 in order to work independently as a Consultant Occupational Psychologist.
Recently he has worked in the clinical field with such clients as BUPA, Atos Origin, and the NHS and in the organisational field with Royal Mail, Cambridgeshire Police, Domino Printing, Richmond Events and Criterion Catalyst.
Bruce has published many articles including a recent chapter in a book in NLP coaching (
Handbook of Coaching Psychology, Brunner and Routledge) Edited by Prof Stephen Palmer and Alison Whybrow demonstrating how behaviour change can be quite simple once all the steps have been put into place. Bruce has two further chapters and a book on NLP coaching in print.
Bruce was a founding member of the Special Group in Coaching Psychology and also one of the founding members of the Association for Coaching.
Bruce started his coaching practice Achieving Lives in 1995 and NLP training company Inner Game in 2006. Bruce is a qualified Hypnotherapist and uses Hypnosis in both his coaching and clinical work
At present Bruce is researching his PhD on how NLP coaching can effectively moderate stress in the workplace. He will also be presenting at the first international NLP research conference at Surrey University.
Bruce's input to the course promises to be entertaining, thought provoking and full of useful insights into the application of NLP and hypnosis in a busy Hypnotherapy practice.
